Henna actually darkens the hair, so if you have dark brown or black hair you will not get a mane of red hair from using Caca Rouge Mama, you will only have healthier, shinier hair with a red tint to it in the light. As a side note, you cannot get a perm after using henna.

This Rouge stains like regular ole henna that you might apply to your skin. Noir never stained my skin. It stained a little bit around my hairline in some spots. It was nothing intense though and it faded away in the next couple of days (even before my first wash). We didn't use Vaseline or anything around the hairline either if you're wondering.

Lush cacas are not pure henna+indigo mix, they work more like a glaze without saturating the colour too much. Brun is a bit on the orange/brown side for me, slightly darker then burnt orange. I was starting as a dark blond/light brown before I used caca brun. After that I used a mix of noir and brun.
